After finishing my summer 2018 internship, I decided I wanted to create another short game in the few weeks before school started up again. I decided to create Shape Storm, an arcade-style game made in Unity that is somewhat a combination between agar.io and retro shooters like Galaga.
This game allows you to shoot down the various 3D shapes coming at you from every direction, the more shapes you hit, the larger you become. This increases the challenge because a larger radius means less reaction time to destroy enemies. Getting hit or missing shots results in a decrease in size. The level is finished when the player reaches a certain size.
